Why should I consider using a specialist wedding floral designer compared to a regular
florist?
A specialist has more expertise in a chosen area; a regular florist does general
floristry work, whilst a specialist solely does wedding flowers. This means they
can offer more advice and they have the experience to carry out a more consistent
quality job. An example is a doctor compared to a specialist. The doctor does general
work but refers their patients to a specialist for expertise and knowledge.
What is involved with your free consultation service?
I will come to your home free of charge for a two hour time period. We will discuss
your themes, ideas and style of dresses, colours etc. With my knowledge I can guide
you, if you need help, choosing out style bouquets, what would best suit you and
your style of dress. You can have on hand any material swatches, pictures of bouquets
you like and I will bring my albums and up to date flower magazines for you to get
ideas from.
How much will my wedding flowers cost?
I can work with any budget, but depending on the time of the year, what style of
bouquets you choose, what type of blooms you want , will determine the price.
Why are my wedding flowers more in price than normal flowers?
his is because you are paying for each bloom to be wired and taped, so that your
flowers are guaranteed to last through out the whole day.
Some florists do not support wire your blooms, they use a hand tied style, to try
to cut corners. I insist on wiring all flowers so I can give you that 100% guarantee
that they will last. The last thing you want on your wedding day is drooping flowers.
What is the process I need to go through to order my wedding flowers?
Initial contact, free consultation, at your place if desired, to discuss your requirements,
a quote is given, and a deposit paid to secure date.
What flowers do I need for my wedding?
You can use flowers for : Bridal bouquet, Bridesmaid bouquets, Buttonholes, Corsages,
Flower girl bouquets/baskets, Hair flowers, Alter and pew arrangements, Church/reception
entrance flowers, Table centrepieces, Flowers for place settings, Flowers for bridal
table, Throwaway bouquet, Cake flowers, and Thank you flowers.
